what does the label say? 10W-30....constructed if you lot desire to get pricey. personally have trouble trusting constructed equally the amount of grime will keep accumulating that the filter cannot remove from the oil stream...what's it like eight buck for a filter....go real.

Change your engine oil regularly, using an API certified, grade SJ or better engine oil, either "Free energy Conserving" or ILSAC multigrade. 5W30 is the preferred viscosity for all weather condition protection, but you may apply 10W30 if temperatures are expected to stay in a higher place 0 degrees Fahrenheit until your next oil modify. 10W30 may also be appropriate if your Camry has loftier mileage or extreme engine wear.

Change PCV valve. Use oil type specified in manual. Rings/piston bleed holes could exist issue. I'd merely keep oil level at proper level using quality synthetic brand and change oil per manual

For people that accept issues with 2007 oil consumption bug. In that location was an engineering science problem with that motor. The bottom piston rings would end up sticking to the piston after nearly 100,000 miles which causes the consumption issue. BG products sells a 2 function bottom engine cleaner that should correct this problem. I personally own a 2007 with 77,000 miles and I practise not have this trouble. Per Toyota I changed from 5W30 to 0W20 full synthetic that I modify every 5000 miles and I also put a half quart of Curiosity'due south Mystery oil in with my right before I do my changes and drive the car 25 to l miles. This should keep those bottom rings in good shape for the life of the car. Time volition tell!

Well I only brought me a 97 Toyota camery and my dad and his blood brother are coming this weekend to put in a new manual due to my current leak issue other then that my car has a brand new engine motor and battery and despite my transmission leak my motorcar runs awsome at least til the transmission fluid drains all the way out...on that note I'm getting 5 w30 and transmission fluid my pops and uncles are macanics and then my machine will exist BK on the road in no fourth dimension

I work for a taxi company and my boss changes the oil on all his Toyota Camry Hybrids at 10,000 grand or six k miles, so far they all got 400,000 k or 250,000 miles. Right now i'g driving a Toyota Camry Hybrid with 518,000k or 310,000 m. He's uses 0w20.....great cars likewise drive!

i have camry 2007 and using 20w-50 since long but i read the possessor transmission it says 5w-20. My machine has clocked 200,000 kms and i dont know which oil to use now. keep using 20w-50 or switch to 5w-20(as per transmission) or to choose something inbetween 5w-30 or 10w-30

@Mobilink I've thought nearly going to a thicker weight too, but worried well-nigh oil starving sure components. How long accept you been running 20w-50? I just bought my 07 Camry with 292,000 miles on the clock. She'll go through about 1.5qts of 5w-twenty total syntheticbetween gas make full ups or 1qt of 5w-30 total synthetic. I just ordered a jug of Amazon basic 10w- 30 full synthetic. The only thing I've noticed that helps is mixing a qt of 15w-40 diesel oil with the 5w- 30. I also simply ordered a can of BG 109, maybe it'll help.

i guess in this condition 20w-fifty will serve the purpose. I never felt annihilation autonomously from loftier fuel milage in city residuum the car works really fine even in winters. ive been using this oil from last 4 years without knowing what actually car manufacturer recommends.

plus at that place was no oil starving. I change the oil subsequently 3000kms and its at the same top level.
